Thoughtful Branches

I love fall and making seasonal cards! Thoughtful Branches is a new stamp and die bundle available until August 31st and I've found it to be a very versatile bundle! Both of these cards were made with it and the possibilities are endless. The hydrangea card was cased from many samples I found on Pinterest. I used Wisteria Wonder layered on Perfect Plum to get the dimensional effect. The tree was stamped and then sponged with Cajun Craze, Pear Pizazz, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie for the fall coloring effect. The sentiment comes from the new Suite Seasons stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. I can't wait to try some other ideas with this set. Have fun with it!

Triple Time!

Triple Time Technique

I've used this technique several times and have always loved the results. For this card, I used Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder, Tangelo Twist, Wild Wasabi and Soft Suede. I chose blooms from several different sets: Fabulous Florets, Bloomin' Love, and Peaceful Petals, and used the bird and sentiment from Everything Eleanor. Know What I Love?

I've fallen in love with the Sale-a-bration set What I Love! We just made this card in class and everyone loved making it! We used Blackberry Bliss,  Strawberry Slush (can use Watermelon Wonder, but Slush matched the twine better), and Old Olive. Gorgeous Grunge splattered the background and coordinating Washi Tape and Thick Twine brought the finishing touches! Rhinestone flower centers added a little bling. There's still time to get this set... Sale-a-bration continues until March 31! 

Balloon Celebration

I don't know if you're like me, but I always need birthday cards. There's nothing like getting a handmade card in the mailbox on your special day and knowing that someone is thinking of you. Over the next few weeks I'll be posting some birthday cards using supplies from the Stampin' Up! Occasions 2016 and Sale-a-Bration catalogs. Here's a favorite using the stampset Balloon Celebration and the Balloon Bouquet punch from Occasions, p. 12-13. Birthday Bouquet DSP is on p. 9. Mint Macaron and Lost Lagoon make this tone on tone card simple but elegant. Add a little silver glitter and stars for some pop!

A Micky Mouse Thank-You

Recently my grandson had his first birthday! Time flies! (Yes, that is a baseball glove! He was tiny!)Since he loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, guess what the theme was! My job was to create some thank-you notes for mom to send. I got a lot of compliments on the result! I used SU! Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight cardstock, and made the bow from Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon. A little Crystal Effects around the mouse with a few brads and you see the finished product! Too cute!
