Here's a technique I use a lot to make some fast cards. Take a piece of plain, neutral cardstock and a favorite stamp set and make your own printed background! For the birthday card, I used the Fresh Vintage       stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog and randomly stamped three or four designs all over the cardstock, each design in a different color. (I took my color inspiration from a scrap of designer paper I found in a drawer!) Once you have your paper stamped, quarter it and you have background fronts for 4 cards! I added a banner strip from coordinating designer paper and embellished with brads. The sentiment was stamped using the Happiest Birthday Wishes set and raised with dimensionals to finish. The thank-you card was stamped using Delicate Doilies stamp set and Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Marina Mist inkpads. The sentiment tag was punched using the Modern Label punch and set up with dimensionals. Punch the flower from coordinating scraps using the scallop circle and Blossom Bouquet triple layer punch. Attach with a brad, add a ribbon, and voila! Four fast, gorgeous cards in a flash!

BE AWARE!!! Many stamp sets and accessories will be retiring at the end of May to make way for the new catalog to be launched June 1!!  Click here to see a complete list of retiring items and get a sneak peek at the new catalog!!
